Happy easter you all!

I know I havent posted, it's easter and the boys got some big, honkin chocolate rabbits for Easter. Kade has been patient all day waiting to eat his.....The boys had a wonderful Easter...Kade got a bubble machine....it rocks and Bran got 2 Naruto books....cool books...Kade has already done his color by numbers and hung it in his room....Spring break started friday afternoon so I am off this week, trying to get caught up on house work.....and painting and stuff...just odds and ends.....hope Willie isnt mad he didnt get a bunny.......

can you believe it? we sure can't!!! he has grown so much......here are some pics of his birthday celebration.......

he had a wonderful time yesterday at school...dad drove him to the bus stop so he wouldnt get cold....and he took three bags of cookies to let his friends celebrate with him, he was so excited.....

we went to chuck e cheeses last night and he had chocolate cake and ice cream after we opened presents..he got a john sena doll and a ninja turtle costume....he was thrilled.

happy birthday kadester...we love ou so much!

WHAT NEWS!!!!!!

you wont believe it! I got news last week that one of my layouts is going to be in a leisure arts book! I cant believe it...it is going to be in a doodling book....oh how I love to doodle!

I thought I was going to pass out....I am so excited.....

I know, I know its been a long time since I posted....

I was so excited about a layout I did last night....

I have been dragging my feet about starting a journal and this is my first entry....

I used all my sprumpcious stamps I got at the scrapbook yard salee the last two weeks....

I am really motivated...to try to do more..it feels good!

I took the cabinet doors down, glued two inch trim around the edges and painted them with shiny white.....its subtle, but I think it looks much better.....now I have to tile a backsplash by the stove and replace the stove vent thingy....

school starts tomorrw! the boys are so excited...they did a dry run tonight to make sure they had everything together.....

now its my turn! gotta get ready! Iw ill let ya know how it goes....1st day in my new room! oh boy!

I love it, I just have a few things to do to it...I have a few things to hang and one shelf to paint white....but I think it opened it up!!!!!what do you think?





I am using it to create my books, scrapbooks and altered stuff, for now, until we can get the addition built.....its going to be fabulous when we get my stuff out, but it will do for now.....

it has been a busy week!

Wednesday we went to see Dwight Yoakam, it was really a good show....I am still reeling over the show, it was so good, I believe he is better in person than on his albums....we are going to see G-Love and special sauce soon...that should be a good one too....

Thurday night we went to Mulligan's and did a little bit of KARAOKE-age....very fun...felt really old though, since it was mostly a younger crowd....there were a few older than us, but not many...I sang Patty Loveless "thats the kinda mood I am in" and Blonde "one way or another"

Friday nite, I went to KATHE's! it was so much fun! Sue, and Jen were there...and I met a bunch of girls from Kathe's office...Kathe did a FABULOUS job with the make and takes we did! so fun!

then Saturday night we went to Tiffany Becks wedding....SO BEaUTIFUL!!!!! it was outdoors at the miracle on the James...ah...beautiful

I just got back from the Dr's office(patient First) and I have a stinking sinus infection....3 meds! ick! hopefully I can breathe out my nose soon though...

Dwight Yoakam is AWESOME!!!!

We went to see Dwight Yoakam tonight at Innsbrook it was awesome! He sang all his old songs! he sang 4 from his new album and they did a Bluegrass set...they played for almost 2 and a 1/2 hours! all for 10.00!!!! what a deal! and it was a beautiful evening weather wise...it was a great night of music..... these are our tickets!
so wonderful!

Thought I would try this blogging thing, and post some of my art I have been working on....

Here is an address book that I have been working on actually got it done, I like how it looks...

Here are some shadow boxes that I did of the boys, I am putting them in my dining room..hopefully I can get it painted this week! but I just love them, I got the shadow boxes at THE DOLLAR TREE!!! can you believe it? 1.00! and I used my plain janes I got in chantilly...that was a blast! The plain Janes are made by deluxe designs...

I did this page when I went to Aprils...its Emily(the best big sister in the world!) and baby abby....I love that name! and you are right emily, she is wonderful! So I was so inspired by her I made this page, I also had just read Love your handwriting by Heidi Swapp...pretty good....

So I did this page of Kade when I got home.... I love the handwriting on scrapbook pages, wish I had done it all along....I did this altered clipboard too, I went to Ben Franklins and they want me to teach classes for paper crafts...cool!(the pic is kinda dark, sorry)

Then yesterday I altered these craft sticks! I love this, I am trying to do some little something everyday....FEELS GOOD!
