Well Hello there!

I am so sad...Summer is coming very close to an end, and I hate that...I am getting very anxious about starting school...especially since I am starting a new job. (I am going to the Jr. High next year...very exciting, I might add)

This has been an UBER busy summer...Kade swam on the Gregory Pond swim team...he did AWESOME...got 10th in the county in his age group for freestyle...very cool

He was so excited to have his hand written on...(something Dad gets kinda upset about if he does it...so its really something special when he swims, casue he doesnt get into trouble for it.....)(crazy what makes kids happy huh? Then the other pic, is of Kade after he won his heat...HE WAS SO EXCITED! he is a rocket...he really enjoys swimming...

As for next week...we are going back into Fall Ball...I love Fall ball....I think it is what helped Brandon so much last year..he played 4 ball games every Saturday for 4 saturdays...He really loved it... My Pictures are on my H drive at school, I will post some baseball pics after tomorrow..I am waiting to get my laptop reimaged before I recop them to the hard drive...

This week i have been painting my kitchen...not having much luck...BLAH! I got this paint that I thought was perfect...NOT! it was just as dark as the red that was up...so now i am repainting the kitchen ...AGAIN! but it is going to look so good!

We got our counter top, sink and faucet put in yesterday...it looks so awesome!I am going to put up the tile in the next few days...I am going to change out the hardware on the cabinets and repaint the cabinets...(I know i know!) then paint the ceiling....and i am going to try to have all this done by thurday or friday...oh yeah and i am going to stain the top of the island to match the new countertops...Then we will have a brand new kichen..except for flooring and thats next...little bit at a time...

i have a ton of new artwork, i need to figure out how to get into my flikr and add some pics...

Jay took me to see the Old 97s at the end of July...for our anniversary....eight years of martial bliss...(I love you hon-neeeee) The concert was really awesome, we could touch the stage, actually we sat our beer on the stage...and they gave me a set list...it was a lot of fun, cant wait till they are back in Richmond...I hope they come back. They're new album (blame it on gravity) is probably their best work....really good stuff. catchy tunes and smart lyrics... hers some pics from the concert...

We were super close and we the music was so wonderful.

I really wanted to go to DC the next night...but they were sold out...The opening act was called The Cut off...they are really good too...you ought to check them out on myspace, if you get a change...they are really good too...
